The American Appendix Horse Association has established itself for the recognition for the Thoroughbred & Quarter Horse cross. These bloodlines make up the horse which has come to be known as the Appendix Horse.
It is our intentions to make an entity of the Appendix Horse
To make this association one which horse owners may breed the type of horse they wish to ride and have the pedigree and acknowledgement they are riding, breeding and selling the "BEST OF TWO BREEDS".
The American Appendix Horse Association will strive to set up all aspects within a horse industry to make the Appendix horse equal to or more valuable then other breed
The American Appendix Horse Association will register the pedigree of these horses and create a industry that will allow the Appendix Horse breeder the liberty to use the Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse bloodlines to make one breed, the Appendix breed. It will also allow the breeder to use these bloodlines to adjust for their type of horse to the their breeding program, by using more or less Thoroughbred or more or less Quarter Horse and still be able to pedigree the offspring. Breeders will also be able to use the color of the Paint Breed in this registry to create a horse with color as long as the Paint is crossed with a Thoroughbred or the Paint has Thoroughbred & Quarter Horse in their bloodlines.
The American Appendix Horse Association welcomes the breeding stock Paint horses into this association without any prejudice for not having any color, as long as the horse has Thoroughbred & Quarter Horse in their bloodlines.
The American Appendix Horse Association, is headquartered in Salmon, Idaho. The Appendix Horse breed has been established in the state of Idaho and the pedigrees of the Appendix Horse breed and any business of the Appendix Horse breed is conducted at the headquarters in Salmon, Idaho. To have a horse established as an Appendix breed, the horse must be registered into the American Appendix Horse Association. This establishes the horse as an Appendix breed of horse and not a coded or unregistered cross of Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse.
