Q:  What is a Hardship?

A:  Usually, every horse registry has a way that a horse can get into their registry without a pedigree.  AAHA is allowing horses that have an Appendix confirmation to join without a pedigree.  A lot of x coded Quarter horses, breeding stock Paints have been sold without papers and we are trying to help them by allowing these good horses back into a horse registry.  To Hardship into AAHA, use the Hardship Pay On Line and submit the information about your horse to AAHA.  You will need to pay the fee and mail or email in a good picture of your horse.  Take a side-view with the head turned forwards the camera and the horse's feet standing apart.

Q:  Can I register any age of horse into AAHA at the same price?

A:  Yes, take advantage of the low price of $25.00 for a registry and $45.00 for a Hardship for now.  These prices are subject to increase in the future.
